TODAY: Rep. Thompson free webinar on stopping CB, 2:45 PM, ET

Stay committed in the fight to save the HME industry from Medicare competitive bidding. Congressional champion Glenn “GT” Thompson (R – PA 5th) will address a national webinar of the HME industry TODAY, July 17 to present an overview of activities and opportunities to advance a congressional fix to the current bid program.
Complaints are being registered daily by patients with growing access problems to needed home medical equipment. With each passing day, more congressional offices are becoming aware of the massive—and growing—mess that CMS has created with their poorly designed bidding program.

Now is the time to leverage that growing awareness into action.

In addition to Thompson, the webinar will feature AAHomecare vice president Jay Witter and PAMS executive director John Shirvinsky. The webinar will serve to prepare participants for the virtual fly-in set for Thursday July 18. Thompson will help explain how we can stop “competitive” bidding in 2013.
