CMS today released the single purchase amounts (SPAs) for the nine Round One “Recompete” areas, including the Pittsburgh and Charlotte CBAs.

The Competitive Bidding Implementation Contractor (CBIC) said that the Recompete is “projected to result in payment amounts that are an average of 37 percent less than Medicare’s fee schedule rates for the six product categories” that were bid.
